The latest iPad update lets you open text messages in new windows. You can’t close them, ever, and they are completely useless, and they will annoy you. But I guess that engineer made it happen!

I don't agree with the harassment and hate of Bluesky staff, but I also don't understand why you are being so firm in keeping one user around when they are explicitly here to poison the well and harass users. Bluesky is the de facto implementation of atproto for the majority, it sets the tone.

Lotta negative reactions, but when social networks say users are the product, they covet their attention and wallets... and that results in scammy practices to maximise engagement, shove ads everywhere, and slurp up every last piece of data. Users here are the _customer_, not the _product_.
