Trump can upgrade USA arsenal, create jobs and improve the economy by helping UA. Also gain respect of Western nations and call himself a hero. I hope his advisors point out that this is a better outcome for him than if he cowers before Putin.

I agree that USA will likely drop support. But if Trump realized how he could profit politically and financially from support he may change his mind. A slim hope.

If USA drops support and EU doesn't have enough military resources, EU can buy from USA for Ukraine. They can even use the Russian funds for this if they choose to do more than just skim the interest. Russia would break any deal they sign unless it's a full Ukrainian surrender.
