The 2 of Cups as what to be wary of in terms of a business relationship, however, would show a certain intimacy (perhaps a lack of boundaries) being a shadow aspect of the relationship (a wee affair? Of course, this is an extreme).

Art, too, is important to me as it paints the answer.

I am interpreting it through the lens of its placement.

Example: the 2 of Cups as the recommended action to an argument with a friend would recommend attempting reconnection & reconciliation (the Rider-Waite art giving me the notion of a face-to-face interaction—perhaps over a nice drink),
