2025 has been a dark year but miraculously De La Soul has a new album, the first since Dave passed, and it's great.

Thanks @wearedelasoul.com

The PLA 1/100 Jeda was a ton of fun to build.

Lightly customized. Added a red shoulder guard and head plate. Other detail painting and a few etching parts.

Had to customize the hand a bit to make it fit the Zaku sniper rifle.

Interesting proportions, crazy long legs.

Life's been busy & I forgot that this had come out until today. Goddamn, man. What a book. Every issue is a nail-biter.

Been buying collected editions exclusively for a while now but this may bring me back to reading more books monthly. How high can the tension ratchet?

I love Judgement Night. Great De La Soul track at the start.

But me sharing a '90s movie that I think deserves more love.

1998's Dark City is a masterpiece that was swallowed up by The Matrix.

Cinematography, acting, score, all brilliant. And my God do the effects still hold up.

Really amazing

Share a '90s movie that you think deserves more love.

1998's The Big Hit. A ridiculous flick with a great cast (minus Marky Mark).

If Bokeem Woodbine and Avery Brooks in the same flick doesn't do it for you then I don't know.

Some truly bonkers memorable lines, scenes and performances.

I ♥️ it.

Post a movie that takes place where you're from.

Easy enough.

Black "new paradigm of power" Adam was trash but this soundtrack is surprisingly strong.

BA's main theme especially is pretty great. Lorne Balfe may have been the hardest working person in the wh9pe production.

The Howling II: Your Sister Is A Werewolf aka Werewolf Bitch Stirba.

-Inexplicable Christopher Lee
-Pretty good gore effects, -Uncomfortable fur makeup threesome
-One of the best end credit sequences around
-That one song
-A mace wielding little person
-Reb motherfuckin' Brown.

What's not to like?

Hell Squad, in which Vegas strippers are tapped to rescue the son of an American diplomat in the Middle East.

It's unsurprisingly pretty dire. Really bad performances, fair amount of nudity which is nice, but terrible action.

Funniest for the one piece of music that loops ad nauseum throughout.

As a firm believer that Predator is a hugely underrated franchise with only one bad flick I absolutely loved the buddy comedy that was Badlands.

Wasn't expecting it to be so funny but it was. Great action, more lore, cool gadgets. Was thoroughly entertained throughout.

I can't wait to see more.

FINALLY saw Frankenstein. Del Toro loves his gothic romances. The most faithful Frank flick since De Niro in Branagh's version.

Sumptuously filmed with visually arresting shots and gorgeous costuming, a feast for the eyes. Great performances all around.

Quite enjoyed it.

I often say that casting Jai Courtney is the kiss of death for a flick but, honestly, I'm a huge fan.

He's a lot of fun in this wet Wolf Creek. The cast is small so Courtney gets a lot of time to command the scene, physically and in performance.

Good gore and some good laughs, I loved it.

Ive watched a bunch of flicks lately.

Saw The Running Man last night. Quite enjoyed it. Surprisingly faithful to the story. I was worried about the tone but it wasn't too far off outside of the last bit.

I've a friend who refers to Glen Powell as "the guy with the face" and he lives up to it here.

A perfect album from.when i was 16. The Fugees have had one of the hardest fall-offs with each band member and some associated acts have had extensive legal issues.

That said, The Score is a masterpiece. A no-skip album filled with banger after banger, hit after hit.
