No Hinterlands type area was one of my initial “hell yeah” moments lmao. As much as I adore Inquisition, some of the regions always make me want to rip my hair out. While open worlds are definitely my jam, the smaller more condensed maps have been so refreshing!

Same. As someone whose introduction into Dragon Age was Inquisition I don’t have these insanely unrealistic expectations for Veilguard. It’s such a highly anticipated game that many people are going to be disappointed/have complaints regardless. I’m honestly just excited to play another DA game 😅

I bought Metaphor just the other day and noticed this as well!
It’s remarkable how this game doesn’t make me feel like I’m constantly grinding. Little stops like these to see the sights tempers the pacing while still moving the story forward and offering a broader view of the world. Loving it.
