Yup, thats why I don't really read much from Steiner... He had a lot of awful things to say. But I love using stories and music and movement to teach children. I guess that's why the program I work with is Waldorf inspired and not Waldorf. I will not lie to parents or students.

FYI, the relatively low light in this video is due to me having a migraine that just won’t go away.

I do not follow Steiner religiously. There are many parts of his ideology I disagree with. Here in American we have a huge number of homeschooling parents who choose not to vaccinate. I strongly approve of vaccines. And I think it is so sad that children continue to die from preventable diseases.

Any way to get this without a pay wall? I’d love to read it.

My sister has ear buds that don’t actually cover her ears… so she can hear what’s going on around her and listen to music or podcasts… they are really cool. Something like that may be better if they need music in class?

I’m just curious… because if you’re listening to music, how can you understand what the teacher is saying… and if you aren’t there to understand the teacher… then why not stay home???

I just think they will always feel to safe and secure to care…. Until it’s far far too late.

I’ve been thinking the same thing lately. But I can’t imagine that there even IS a point where things will be bad enough for most of us to change… because those with the money and power will always be safer than the rest of us. And if THEY don’t change? Well nothing will. My sad opinion.

This is crushing… definitely not going to ease the housing crisis… sigh … it’s going to be harsh
