I have lived in the US, Singapore, and the UK. In the latter two, backing into parking spaces is the norm. It's not done to impress anyone or show superiority. It just makes leaving the space much easier (and, I think, safer).

Agree he hated talking about it. But he also considered Han a very one-dimensional character who had no growth potential. And he kept asking George Lucas to kill Han off (and then only agreed to do Force Awakens if it were Han's last appearance).

He definitely preferred playing Indiana Jones - he said it on many occasions. His disdain for Han Solo was pretty clear (never understood why, but 🤷♀️).
