Thanks Ron Insana for setting the record straight on air this morning regarding the relatively good economy Trump inherited than what he continues to inaccurately suggest.

Trump is not a king and won’t be president forever. Those who serve in his administration without remorse, do so with dishonor. The day will come when he leaves office and is no longer on the scene, but their dishonor will remain.

On this day, remember January 6, and the courageous officers who defended our capital.

Kamala told us that Trump is not a serious person, not fit for the office. Our dilemma as a country is that he managed to get himself elected and we’re forced to take him seriously. The betrayal of parts of the so called pro democracy coalition last election and what it has wrought still upsets me.

I just listened to General Wesley Clark express support for Trump’s actions in Venezuela. I thought he was a Democrat. When did he become a Neocon?

Meant tax cut for the wealthiest Americans.

It’s not said enough. Biden inherited a faltering economy, in part, due to the mismanaging of the pandemic by the Trump Admin. Biden had things moving in the right direction at the end of his term. Trump squandered the recovery with ill advised tariffs and a tax hike for the wealthiest Americans.

I used to not think this way, but If Dems are able to achieve a trifecta in 2028, it might be time to reform SCOTUS. Maybe impose term limits and/or expand the Court. As it stands now, this conservative majority is leading the country to ruin, overturning precedent and stripping us of our rights.

Why the Dems caved despite having the wind at their backs after big wins just last Tuesday perplexes me! To bank everything on a promise seems like folly to me! The only way it’ll work is if Trump signs on. What evidence is there of that happening. Seems their cruelty is being rewarded.

Why does Antonia feel the need to dump on Kamala Harris?

Kamala warned about everything that Trump and his administration are doing. If only more Americans had listened or gotten past their prejudices! Some of us still feel betrayed by elements of the so called pro democracy coalition! Our democracy is truly in peril and at risk of being lost!

Katy Tur said that Democrats haven’t been cool since Obama. Well, it was cool to me Biden choosing the first woman and woman of color as Vice President, the first black woman to SCOTUS, and restoring the country from COVID. Kamala was cool herself in her campaign with memes everywhere.

There was a discussion on Deadline Whitehouse about why poll numbers for the Democratic Party have dropped. Part of it is despair over the state of things. I think some of it is a feeling of betrayal by some in the pro democracy coalition the last election. Better on the state level.

Did I hear correctly? Did Chris Jansing take a swipe at Kamala Harris on her show today? Perhaps I misunderstood her comment. I hope so.

Is it just me, or does it feel like a generational divide in the National Democratic Party is growing at the risk of leaving parts of the traditional base behind? Be mindful that the entire coalition will be needed to win in both 2026 and 2028. Reach out!

Seems the Dems have already written off Kamala Harris as a prospective presidential candidate in 2028. Remember, over 75,000,000 people voted for her in 2024 and she still has a loyal following. Don’t discount her voice nor that of her supporters. The party would be well advised not to do so.

Hi. I’m supporting you for Governor and am hopeful about your candidacy. I just read about the Majority Democrats initiative. Please keep the tent a big one. As a voting senior who’s found great benefit in party establishment leadership, please don’t discount them. Thanks.

Don’t forget, Mitch McConnell stole a SCOTUS seat from President Obama. He also got a justice voted in just days before the presidential election. He further refused to lead his conference to vote Trump guilty during his last impeachment trial, which would’ve made him ineligible to run for office.

Basil and Nicolle, don’t lose sight of the fact that most black New Yorkers did not vote for Mamdani. Please speak to that reality. Thanks.

Katy, everything you said the Democrats should be doing was attempted by VP Harris last election cycle. Have you forgotten? Were you not at the DNC? Did you not see the huge multicultural turnout at her rallies, including in red states? Run the tape!

During the last campaign, it seems that Harris paid a price for putting forth only policies that she had a good faith chance of enacting. Folk appear to be more motivated by audacious promises backed only by Pixie Dust and wish casting.

Katy just asserted something with which I totally disagree, that Kamala Harris ran a negative campaign against Trump, not a positive one giving voters something to vote for. She promoted lots of policies to give people hope. Run the tape. Katy, you constantly speak harshly of her. Why?

Is it just me or does Ayman appear somewhat disinterested when his cohosts are leading an interview or asking questions of guests? Still a great show! Great, very professional, smart and adept hosts!
