HSC results are in, ATAR to come. As parents our main concern now is that he’s happy and healthy . 17 days ago he had mini stroke so any result pales in comparison to the fact he’s alive and has no lasting effects. That’s what’s important, anything else is a bonus.

Should I - no, will I regardless for most of December ? - yes. Today’s earnt after 3 days in hospital with middle kiddo, so could technically eat another 2 but I’ll be little responsible.

Middle kiddo turns 18 this Sat. Did not expect to be sitting in ER with him after a neuro episode at the start of the week . Receiving a text that said ‘I think I’m experiencing stroke like symptoms’ was scary as hell but first aid training paid off. Having all the tests 🤞🏻

90’s techno is the perfect accompaniment to pressure cleaning. Very therapeutic but sooo messy. Two weeks until party time.

Keeping get adverts from UTS regarding applying for 2026 & having to fight the urge to comment ‘ Son did, as first preference, but you pulled the course!’ He now has an early entry offer to a uni not in chaos & thinking UTS is no longer an option.

When you’re almost 50 year old body is feeling the ramifications of your brain still thinking it can play like the 18 year old soccer player of the past. It all hurts but did score in the parents v kids game- at 5f 2 I play on the kids team 😆

I decided to clean the outside of our fridge, was completely covered in kids stuff, magnets etc to the point the actual colour wasn’t visible. Every time the kids walk in they stare at it, then me if there & shake their heads. Apparently I have committed a mortal sin! #Operationcoveritupagain ahead

Self scanning at shops (no checkouts open 😡) with headphones on while watching/listening to a show. Feel a tap on shoulder,turn & look, complete stranger. Move headphones to hear him - he tells me about waterproof ear phone covers he had bought on Amazon to protect the leather - nice random moment
