A great set for the money with a nice cover too. The first one is legendary; the sequels are fun. I don't hate the fourth installment nearly as much as most people seem to do, but I understand their disappointment. To me it's just another Jinn.

I really liked this when it was released, but now I feel like the Romero version actually aged better. It's an absolute, memorable genre classic, while this remake is just a fun watch.

A mostly forgettable and quite tame movie for Joe D'Amato. If you expect full frontal nudity and a shark that roams the ocean like some crazy food processor, you'll be disappointed. Unless you are a collector of this subgenre, you can skip it.

A fantastic film, based on an amazing book. The protagonist is trapped in a weird village, in a sand pit with no way out. The sand is a character, an ancient monster, consuming everything in its path; and Teshigahara films it without equal. A must see masterpiece of world cinema.

I have started this years ago, but never saw the last entry. Time to rectify this. Re-watching the first volume with parts one and two, then on to the second one. It's a beautiful box set with foil details and nice art.

A Swedish horror from 1921 that belongs in every collection; if only for the historical value. It's an interesting watch with old time effects, but it is always interesting to see how the genre evolved from the early days.

An impressive Hungarian animated movie that took decades to complete because of funding issues. The story spans from the beginning of time to the far future. It has 15 acts and each is done in a different animation style. Definitely worth checking out.

A film from the 60s Japanese Euro-Gothic wave, by the director of Golden Bat and Terror Beneath the Sea. Despite initially feeling like a campy knockoff of The Haunting, it's entertaining, well shot and has its dark moments towards the end.

William Castle was the king of the gimmick, and this was no exception. I managed to find a Ghost Viewer on Ebay and watched the movie with it. As you can see from the pics I took, it works. The ghosts appear and disappear depending on the color.
