"Duhhhh, just do it with your bare hands, hur hur!"

Obviously the real key to everything is *efficacy*. Nobody's out there lionizing that loser from last Summer, and that's because he *fucking missed*.

Remember: Means, Motive, Opportunity. A person can have all the motive in the world, but without a realistic opportunity and effective means, it's not worth a whole lot. And both of those other things cost money, that a lot of people, myself included, simply do not have.

So you just didn't read my response at all. It's okay, I've heard some people have difficulty with reading. You seem unable to comprehend that basic economics applies to violence as much as anything else.
December 20, 2025 at 2:27 AM
Yes, that's what's keeping us from getting medicare for all, is people being justifiably angry about the ghoulish behavior of white-collar business criminals. Not countless billions of dollars in lobbying, political donations, and propaganda. You are very smart.

Ah, there we go, blaming the poor for being poor, the tried-and-true tactic of the capitalist bootlicker. Yeah, I don't live down the street from Palmer Luckey, and can't really afford long-distance transportation. Guess I'll something something bootstraps, right?
December 20, 2025 at 1:03 AM
Ah, but that last one's the rub, isn't it? Readily available for some things, and basically unobtanium for others.

This entire thread began from the fact that there's a significant chance Luigi is going to walk due to the prosecution fucking up handling the evidence, repeatedly. They literally can't, legally, prove he did it. Also, The Waltons don't live at Wal-Mart, genius.

Given the current state of corporate regulations in this country, yes. Yes it did.

Actually, if we properly funded things like stem cell and cloning research, we *could* become able to grow organs in a lab. So, yeah, kinda? Like, a ton of research has already gone into the topic, and we're getting closer every day, even with current funding.

Which I addressed in the very next comment.

On the one hand, laughing about it isn't the best look, but on the other, sometimes laughing is all you can do to stay sane, so I get it.

The irony is that this only reveals *their own* contempt for the poor, because *you* say "racist (or other form of bigot)" and *they* are the ones who read that as "poor".

Are you think perhaps that it's a horse of a different color? 😋

Random quotes won't help you here. The healthcare system is broken. All attempts to fix it have failed. Empirical data is readily available to show how all attempts to bring costs under control have been thwarted. Ergo, we are on our last resort. It's not hard.
December 19, 2025 at 10:37 PM
You're presenting weird, ahistorical takes as some sort of postmodern trolling so I'm gonna stop responding to you now.
December 19, 2025 at 10:34 PM
From your lips to God's ears, Mr. Secretary, but the 25th requires the VP (and that's pretty unlikely, to put it mildly), and the earliest we'll have even a hope of impeaching him is 2027.

"The White House is a symbol of oppression, so it's cool when a dictator makes it an EVEN BIGGER symbol of oppression."

Not sure they followed that line of thought to its conclusion.

To my knowledge, no doctor has ever refused to treat someone over their ability or inability to pay. But that patient will usually end up crushed under the weight of the resulting debt, which the doctor has no control over.
December 19, 2025 at 10:19 PM
Well, until God gets off his lazy ass to help us, we're left to fend for ourselves. Violence is a last resort, and we've good and goddamn well run through all the others by this point, so I'd like to hear *your* proposal for what we can do to keep billionaires from killing us all.
December 19, 2025 at 10:19 PM
Medical supplies *do* still cost money. But, funny story, doctors and hospitals *did* used to operate essentially at-cost, until health insurance showed up and, through unreasonable demands, forced them to artificially inflate prices.

Bare minimum, assuming it did absolutely *nothing* positive for society, at the very least Luigi gave one of those fucks a taste of their own medicine (no pun intended). I've never been one to turn up my nose at petty spite in the face of powerlessness.
December 19, 2025 at 10:06 PM
What's the plan? I mean, I'm 100% the "relentlessly vote blue regardless of who it is" type, and while that works for social issues, there's basically no political will to rein in end stage capitalism. So, what, we all just accept death?
