For #RandomGameSaturday, I've got Virtual On for the Saturn! Wildly cool game on its own, and a mist-play if you're ever lucky enough to stumble upon one of the cabinets for it. It's still fun, and moving with the twin sticks combined with the rest of the presentation makes you feel wildly cool.

The story falls apart due to what feels like a breakneck pace. Things that are introduced with the weight of major plot points end up being irrelevant or hardly ever explored. It's hard to keep track of, and becomes a bit of a distraction. I think if some things were cut, it would've worked better.

Finished Escaflowne earlier this week! I think it starts incredibly strong and then loses focus about a quarter of the way through it's 26 episode run. I know there were some production issues, though. All in all, I'm glad I watched it. The show is visually stunning, and the music is top notch.

IMO, Astrologian gets some of the best Big Hats.

IMO, Astrologian gets some of the best Big Hats.
RDM and BLM share the same gear, aside from job specific pieces that are part of a once-an-expansion set. But even then, RDM doesn't get the hats I'm looking for. I can get this first one at 99, or the second here as a dungeon drop at 87.
