“Airplane,” Shen Qingqiu said dangerously low. “Airplane, didn’t you say the cave is west of the Temple of Eternal Devotion?”

“I did?” Shang Qinghua asked, munching on some melon seeds he pulled from gods knew where. It didn’t even seem like he particularly enjoyed them, with how stressed he looked. Of course Airplane was a stress eater. This was the least surprising thing that had happened today. “Well, I guess I did.”

Turning the sheet of paper with Shang Qinghua’s notes around, Shen Qingqiu glared as he pointed at the part of the notes mentioning the Xiezuo Lake Bingge passed by during his search for the Sun-Moon Dew Mushroom. East of the Temple of Eternal Devotion. “Are you fucking sure about that, you hack.”

He knew he was staring, that he should really, really try to listen to Lin Qingshui talking since literally nobody was taking any notes and he really needed to get at least the gist of it down or else it would be harder to hold his stance against the inevitable pushback when he refused him the extra budget. Summary:
Opening his eyes, Shen Qingqiu’s gaze fell on their hands, somehow intertwined, as if either of them had grabbed the other during their fall. Now that he had become aware of it, everything in him was overtly focused on that specific point of contact, on how Liu Qingge’s fingers curved around his, the pressure of his skin against his own.

Shen Qingqiu was getting a bad feeling about this.

Experimentally, he lifted his own hand and watched as Liu Qingge’s stayed stuck to it. He tried to open his hand, but it just. Didn’t.
