Really excited about this project! I do worry a little about right-hook crashes as vehicles turn onto 10th Ave NE. I wonder if SDOT could ban right turns for vehicles here?

Another naming issue I see: the Kent/Des Moines Station (Link) is rather far from Kent Station (Sounder). Seems easy to mix up.

I propose Kent/Des Moines renamed as Highline College.

It’s nice when station names help show actual destinations.

Btw love seeing these new system maps up. The 2 Line connection across the Lake cannot come soon enough. I’m ready for double the frequency headed north!

@sound-transit.bsky.social I know y’all are busy, but is there a plan to update these displays using the new station numbering system? Also if I can nitpick, I think simply “1 Line to …” would be cleaner.

Perceptions of cleanliness - I’d love to see the stations deep cleaned. The platform walls at Cap Hill station have been dirty for years! Looks like someone threw drinks at the wall. Meanwhile in Berlin 🧼:

The tire/crash marks tell us why solid protection is so important for bike/ped safety. More of this please! And fewer of those dinky plastic posts
