(whenever I feel sad about my progress I remember that this is an actual drawing I did 6 months ago that took 30 whole minutes)

I don’t think this is very helpful but i’ve kinda been practicing this and my trick is picking the central body part i’m most excited about (usually abdomen like ribcage/stomach/back) and just getting that part on the page and building around it. probs bad advice but has worked for me so far lol
