The heinous, brutal killing of Robert L Brooks is an indictment of our entire criminal legal system.

Seems bad that a shadowy landlord lobbying group can dump $1.4 million dollars of your rent money into a campaign against protections that would spare working class tenants from unconscionable rent increases and unjust evictions.
Landlord group was one of biggest spenders on lobbyists last year
The group “Homeowners for an Affordable New York” paid $1.4 million to a single lobbying firm to fight “good cause” eviction protections.
