We were proud to have Dr. Robin Bartlett, professor and associate dean for research in the Capstone College of Nursing at The University of Alabama, deliver an inspiring lecture titled “Research in the Rural South.”

Brock and Jnah co-authored an article in the most recent edition of Neonatal Network, the Journal of Neonatal Nursing, titled “From Diagnosis to Discharge: Case of a Giant Occipital Encephalocele”.

Annaleise Darrohn gained experience as a nursing extern at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Darrohn, a Brinkley-Lane Scholar from Wake Forest in her senior year, worked in the intermediate ICU and chemotherapy floor where she “learned a multitude of skills including tracheostomies, NG (nasogastric) tubes, chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration.”
