Sure. Here are DDT figures from EPA, and polio figures. Notice DDT rose until polio crashed in 1955, and then kept rising as polio dropped to nothing.

Hillside Village in Cedar Hill, Texas.

It’s too early. This is a symptom.

Protesters on No Kings Day should be sure to carry the flag of the #Resistance, the Stars and Stripes.

It would be funny were many Gadsden flags also to show up.

Sunshine through a window in our church sanctuary. Stained glass windows are beautiful from either side as light shines through them. (First Christian Church of Duncanville).

It’s obvious now Trump is more impaired than anyone confessed to or most of us knew. Trump is too old and too mentally incapacitated for the job.

It’s time for a 25th Amendment intervention to save our economy and stop the slaughter of our good government agencies.

Pass it on.

Here's the chart you want, polio cases in America by year. Notice epidemic peaks were growing worse, and so were the years between epidemics, "lull" years. Lull years after 1952 peak, 1953 and 1954, were higher than most previous epidemic years. Salk vaccine arrived in 1955, crushed polio.

May peace blossom in our hearts, minds and actions, as Spring for all people. May it blossom in the hearts of those who would fashion us as their adversaries.

Now.

Flags at half staff for President Jimmy Carter, in Raton, New Mexico.

See the Moon to the right of the flagpole.

Last full Moon of 2024, through the neighbor’s sweet gum tree (where the hawks fledged earlier) with Jupiter and Aldebaran to the right of the Moon.

Finally, fall color! About 45 days later than when we arrived in Dallas in 1987.

It's worth noting that only 7% of Democrats in Congress say they don't want to go forward with Biden. Of the 7%, none say they'll jump to Trump. @darinself.bsky.social

No need to call them "No Labels" any longer. I found the labels they lost.

Creationism bubbles up in my social media feeds.

Before you come at me on the science, creationists, please take time to read the decision in the Kitzmiller case, which ruled evolution is science, and creationism is not.

Most of the serious restaurants in my U's town, are gone. Lamb's Grill was one for the ages, but aged out. Big Ed's had maybe the best French fries for late night studying. Gone.

So Hires Better Burgers it is.

If you're in town today, sushi at Takashi, Scotch at Post Office Place.
