Sociopathy is actually relatively rare in humans, it's just that capitalism empowers and promotes it. The system tells us to defer to that cruelty and forget that we could just crush it with superior numbers at any time.

Absolutely. I am so fucking sick of that and I'm glad to see others calling bullshit on it. Pro-war is always framed as sober-minded and realistic, no matter how magical the thinking is, while questioning the rationale for death & destruction is always demonized and taking peace seriously is a joke.
