Those numbers can’t be trusted. There’s an opt out only feature on IG that auto posts your content onto threads. This I believe is bumping up the reported engagement data.

I recently discovered that I had been opted into a feature on IG that automatically reposts grid uploads into threads. If all IG users have been opted in, than that would account for a huge increase in “action” on threads.
