I’m holding out hope one person I follow on Twitter makes the move but they said they have no plans for that. Regardless, I use a plugin to find other people I follow there, over here. Once a few more people make the move and I have all bookmarks downloaded, I’m out.

It’s already happening. Threads recently changed how its feeds work due to heavy complaints. The result is a lot closer to Bluesky or old Twitter.

My benchmark is always apps like Hive that had a lot of hype in the beginning but it died off real quick.

threads has 10x the user base because it piggy backs off instagram. Bluesky s growth is happening off its own strengths.
