I too love Press to Play and prefer it to Pipes of Peace.
Rotogravure on the other hand is rubbish. Last time I tried to listen to it I had to switch it off.

What a show! So glad I got a ticket. 2 hours just flew by and I would have happily stayed for another 2 hours or more. It was my 1st Divine Comedy show but definitely won't be my last.

I absolutely adore this @divinecomedyhq.bsky.social album. Gorgeous melodies, beautiful music, l just can't get enough of it. The vinyl has such a fantastic warm sound. It's been on repeat since its release with no signs of stopping anytime soon! just wish had a ticket for the Notts show tomorrow.

Out of interest, do you have a favourite of the box sets? From the ones I have, I love the live set on SFTW and the bonus tracks on Warchild are superb.

A Passion Play has really grown on me and it's now one of my favourites. Although, I can't stand The Hare Who Lost His Spectacles and would be happy to never hear it again.

I'm hoping for a reissue of the Too Old to Rock n Roll book set at some point. Seems odd that they didn't do it when they re-released the others. Maybe they found the master tapes and it's being completely re-done?? Or is that just wishful thinking 😂

Typical that I've only just seen #JethroJuly on the 31st! I've been buying the remixed albums on LP since they first started reissuing them, but, as I've been on a Tull kick the last few months, I've started to get the book sets. They really are the gold standard for reissues.

I'm off down to London this weekend (sadly not to see Oasis) and have some time on Friday to go record shopping. Any recommendations are welcome as I'm hoping to go to some I've not been to before. Sister Ray and Reckless are definite as are Flashback and Rise Above but not sure which others....

I ordered from their site the day it was announced too (white label version). Paid for one day shipping (which was v expensive) & it's been sent tracked 48 so won't be here today. At least mines have been dispatched but still 😔 I was thinking of ordering the 2lp but will see how this one sounds 1st.
