I didn't know about this Signal For Help hand gesture until today. I'm quite sure that a lot of other people don't know it either (as demonstrated in this video). If you just learned it now too then it was worth posting.

That was me today. Vix left for work at 4:30, I had trouble falling back to sleep, got her notification of work arrival at 5:30. Alarms went of at 8:30 and 9:00, I finally got up at 10:30. Still fuzzy headed here at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Just goes to show how ridiculously bloated the other vehicles are.
I'll take the MG any time over them. Makes me miss the '98 MGB I used to drive before cancer rotted the coachwork.

I've had the same issues, sometimes reading a book or playing simple games on my tablet distracts my brain and I'm able to go back to sleep.

Unfortunately, the entire purpose for automakers making the trucks bigger is to meet EPA requirements to keep putting big V-8 engines in them.
Equally annoying is when the exhaust pipe has a big resonator on them

My 2003 Mini is the first generation of the "new" mini. It's smaller than the current Cooper model. I don't find the newer ones as appealing, and they're loaded down with un-necessary extras.

My full size 1999 Silverado is the size of today's small trucks.
Even the imports have become oversized.

This is exactly how I think!
I drive my Mini Cooper local. It's all I need and gives me 30+ mpg around town.
I drive my Ford Flex on road trips. It has the room to haul everything I take with me, and an increased level of comfort for long hauls. Gas mileage is pretty decent, too, at 25-27 mpg.

To me, all the changes happened since Covid. I still go to fur conventions, but I'm finding I'm having more fun at Anime cons and shifting my focus to furry cosplays.

It's the opposite in retail stores. Biggest bag of daffodil bulbs I could find was 25 count for $12. I need about 200 for where I want to plant them. 😭

I have never acquired a taste for pecan pie.
