Seems to me all the additional solar is just adding to the mix rather than replacing FF...the acid test is carbon emissions, are they still rising year on year?

That's incorrect. There was a gradual increase in Spa from 60 to 65 starting in 2010. The legislation for this was in 1995...so women had 15 years to get used to the change followed by a further 8 years of gradual transition.

For many many years women got their state pension at age 60 whilst men had to wait until 65. I don't understand what's unfair about bringing them into line... especially when women on average live longer.
