Too busy at work to know Gavin was on a no-no bid until the bottom of the 8th. My coworker pulled up the SNY broadcast on his phone. The nod to his performance by not cutting to commercial between the top/bottom of the 9th was great. Not to mention the ovation from the Mets fans as he exited

Kwan is not a generational talent nor a superstar. But he is a consistently excellent ball player. A great guy in the dugout and fun to watch. Baseball is a business and I won’t throw my arms up is disgust. But dammit I will be very disappointed if The Guards don’t keep him around for the long term.
