6. One of their players appeared to get booked for slipping on the Astroturf in front of the dugout. Ref was poor and didn’t help the game. 7. I have no idea what their centre half was doing when he nearly scored for us. 8. Lack of energy in ground was disappointing, often the way at early kickoffs.

4. Orsi should never play as the lone striker again. Not singling him out but he’s about at home there as he would be at center half. I think he needs to play on the right in a 4-3-3 but we just don’t play that formation. 5. We looked marginally better once Omar came on, should have happened earlier

After 90 minutes he has still never seen a game of football

If it’s any consolation you didn’t miss much

Fine margins between clear headed and empty headed I guess.

We’ve done this in previous rounds, the young lads on loan come back and play in the noddy trophy games. They stay out on loan for the league matches.

Always rated him 😉

Looking for opportunities to dominate vs being always compelled to, regardless of the opposition, pitch and match situation. They should be so much better and seem happy just to win the 30% of the time it comes off.

Yep, agreed Josh worked hard and was just about strong enough to hold the ball up. Neither of them suited being lone striker but JD at least made himself a nuisance.

Josh Davison 2.0

Oh that’s terrible news ☹️

I thought Maycock looked very good before his injury last season but since then seems to have lost confidence and just hangs around the periphery of the game. Hard agree on everything else. Sasu has tools but being good at football sadly doesn’t seem to be one of them.

I rarely love a player as much as I love Omar Bugiel. He was reputedly surplus to requirements at the end of last season, but opted to stay and fight. Whether that was psychology from the manager or just a straightforward decision, it seems to have been really good for him. #afcw

When he’s got the right balance between confident and angry he can be unplayable, bullying the opposition all over the pitch. I love him as well, even more so for that fact that he’s reputedly dreadful in training.

Amazing stuff. The contract extension is looking increasingly smart business every game.

I like to think my words inspired him😆. He takes a good pen tbf. Looked a bit light and slow in other games. Could say same about Stevens but he compensates playing like a wasp with a grudge and smart movement/body positioning. 🤞Orsi becomes a good deputy but I don’t see them working in the same XI.

Of course not, there’s no interest in genuine underdogs, we upset the natural order of things. Shame though, it would be great to see a documentary with Omar clattering people in HD.
