This is a chart of the 10-year bond yield (longer-term) minus the 3-month (short-term) bond yield. When it goes negative (an "inversion"), it means short-term yields are higher than long-term yields. This is a reliable recession (gray) indicator.
It's currently telling us a HUGE crash is likely.
