(Not going to lie, 1983 brings up some feelings 😳)

A #ThrowbackThursday for anyone enjoying the latest season of Taskmaster – it started here back in 2010 (check out a very little Little Alex Horne ❤️)

Captioning makes #edfringe shows more accessible to D/deaf or hard of hearing people, neurodivergent people, people with learning disabilities and those for whom English is not their first language.

There were 459 captioned performances across 69 shows at this year’s Fringe...

It's #ThrowbackThursday, and we’re throwing back to… literally a few days ago, when #edfringe was still happening 😭 It feels like so long ago!

Help us revel in the nostalgia – share your #edfringe 2025 photos / memories in the comments 👇

We can tell you right now 🙂

The dates for next year’s festival are 07 – 31 August 2026 🎉
edfringe.bsky.social
We know #edfringe is predominantly about daring to discover something new and exciting… but we also can’t help getting excited when we see someone famous milling around, either onstage or in the audience.

Who have you spotted at the festival this year?

As in there's a typo in Edinburgh? I'm having a hard time finding it - could you share a screengrab please?

It's a fair question. The Street Events have evolved over the years and things have changed to help crowd movement and allow street artists more room to perform. We don't have any immediate plans to bring back the taster stages on the High Street but never say never!

We’re delighted to once again be working with Deaf Action to provide BSL interpretation at West Parliament Square today, as part of the #edfringe Street Events ✌️

Psst... that video is of our pals over at the Edinburgh International Festival (different organisation), but we can understand the mix-up!

Need to chill out for a moment? 🏝️

As much as we love the Fringe, we know it can sometimes feel overwhelming, so we've put together a list of quiet spaces where you can take a well-earned breather from the festival 👇
