Current side project: an IR in rust with a nice "correct" by design builder API.
This IR then is lowered to LLVM IR (or any other backend in the future, maybe QBE and/or cranelift, etc).
I like melior and inkwell but i feel that modeling the C++ ownership in rust sucks and is prone to segfaults

The (unofficial) mlir-rs organization was created not long ago on Github, which i am part of now, its made of repos that bring the MLIR ecosystem into Rust: github.com/mlir-rs

Tried a bit OCaml, the language looks really good, the tooling is awfull, i really dislike opam, and dune:
- opam looks a lot like python pip management, which i really dislike, works with envs, just use local deps always
- dune is bad too, S expressions for project config?

tried to host my own bluesky PDS but i already have lot of stuff behind nginx and it uses a docker image with caddy and i can't be bothered to configure it rn

trying this out, i wonder how is this different from mastodon
