I disagree with the fact it is unsustainable and I will explain.
In Redcliffe when you save Conner, he reappears in Inquisition as a cameo, and that alone justified everything I did to me. I don't care if it's a tangent to the main story, I can see the character I saved and that means everything.

Having played Veilguard I am so sorry what they've done to the story. I loved the grey wardens, Morrigan, and all of the characters and they've destroyed the entire foundation of the story I'm sorry :(
