So, they do not want you to follow them? Kinda defeats the purpose of being an author then.

People really only have limited context. Such as when people think of slavery they think black, but slavery didn’t choose.
Throughout history, it varies. As for how it gets justified, that has always gotten under my skin.

Plan. I cannot stress this enough. Things might be adjusted over time, but a plan will make things a lot easier, and increase the rate of finishing.

Such as making a story where they self inserted into the thing they most hate, and wouldn’t realize it until it was too late. 😂

I think you’re thinking of wish fulfillment. I wouldn’t say they’d be okay with LLM stuff, but likely neither do they care about doing anything deeper.
Those are pretty much self inserts, used to make jokes about that with discord friends.

Honestly, whenever I read stuff like that. I cringe hard. I’ve probably dropped more books than I can count because of that.
