Call center manager to trainee: most eventually just give up and try to solve the problem themselves. we call this “customer empowerment”. 3. Call center manager to trainee: those who don't give up will be given a brief opportunity to speak with a non-technical support agent. 4. Frustrated customer to non-technical support agent: have I tried turning it off and on again?! it's a bowling ball! how would I turn it off and on again?!
