Brilliant article, and lovely to hear about something that feels genuinely hopeful and positive

Surprised it's taken them so long to offer this, feels like something that could be hugely popular

He needs to do more than apologise

We need to make directors personally accountable for the horrors their AI systems enable, much like health and safety legislation

It might help focus minds a little

So that's what these weird cage things are used for, I'd always wondered

I suspect that PCUK is likely to be far more closely connected to patient advocates, and to find it harder to take a wider perspective

The challenges are very real, as someone who has tried to manage these tensions within orgs

Very difficult to achieve a broader perspective, especially as we encourage in all sorts of ways (amongst both staff and volunteers/patient reps) single-minded determinism

That might have been a good response, but that's not his argument

He's just denying and obfuscating

I appreciate you won't feel this goes far enough, but manufacturers are now introducing adverts on their displays

Which is at least some punishment for their stupidity

I wonder if the absence of a large, well resourced health charity is part of the issue

I'm sure the Menopause Charity does great work but with <200K income it can't do it at the necessary scale

And of course, fundraising will be a challenge whilst public understanding is so poor...
