👏 So proud of our Roseburn to Union Canal Link team for their win at the National Transport Awards 2025: Exemplary Approach to Active Travel and Public Space.

Due to forecasted wind speeds of up to 60mph associated with #StormAmy Princes Street Gardens and all gated public parks will close from 4pm this afternoon and tomorrow.

Site inspections will be carried out before re-opening on Sunday (October 5).

Over 3,000 pupils from 30 schools across the Capital are attending Young Driver 2025 this week!

With everything from mock courts through to virtual reality and driving simulators, this annual event encourages the next generation of Edinburgh's drivers to be safe and responsible.

A time capsule has been interred at the North Bridge today to mark the project's work for future generations.

From a letter to the future citizens of Edinburgh to books written by local school pupils, there was a wide array of objects contributed by groups from across the city.

The final drop-in sessions for residents to engage with our consultation on expanding the tram network take place this week.

There's one this afternoon (29 September) at North Edinburgh Arts and on Wednesday (1 October) at Waverley Court. Both run from 4pm to 7pm.
