But the business case and journey times are clear that the path is the most efficient route - so if proposing all of these longer & slower routes, it’s important to recognise the £100m’s extra they will cost to both build then operate.

Isn’t the right answer to think what public space is best appropriated (including next to the current business lounge - wouldn’t it be great to repurpose that road!). Could create something great!
