WASPI women can jog on. You had 20 years notice and chose to stick your heads in the sand.
You can't have compensation for something you never had.

Counterpoint to this: I go away with work and will often be in the pub by myself for dinner and some drinks (no problem with this, I'm ok with my own company), ordering on an app/QR means I don't have to worry about someone taking my table while I go to the bar.

2 reasons spring to mind:

1 - you're not allowed/supposed to have 13A 240V outlets in a bathroom (not quite as black/white as that, but nearly)

2 - quite a few houses still had outside toilets with no power or space when washing machines became affordable, so the kitchen was the logical place

Why have they installed cooling ducts in a bonnet that doesn't cover an internal combustion engine?

Correct, I don't.

One glorious day, in July last year, I completed the challenge "Laundry". The washing basket was empty, and apart from what we were wearing, all the clothes were clean.
It was a brief triumph.

It's not the most frequent, it's the thing you bought more than other people.

That might have something of an impact on the birth rate, given most (not all, granted) people like some privacy when they are doing 'it'.

Also I don't want to wake up at 4.30 when the sun rises in June!

Have you considered giving up Netflix and avocados?

A mate once went into a detailed explanation of his idea for LEDs to be mounted inside the toilet bowl for guidance to avoid having to turn the light on during nocturnal pisses.

The look of "oh, yeah..." on his face when I pointed out the sitting down option was a picture.

My birthday is in the Merryneum, and anyone trying the "joint xmas and birthday" scam gets very short shrift.

It's not my fault when I was born, wait until I give you your "joint" present in June...

Why are friends better than family? You can choose your friends.

Incorrect, lots of legitimate organisations use SMS for notifications etc. Also it's part of the GSM standard, so isn't going anywhere.

Our concealed element kettle broke, so I dug out the old exposed element type one we take camping. It's a lot quieter, not silent, but much less noisy than the modern one.

A pendant writes: it's not a fine, it's the default parking charge that he's liable for having failed to pay for the period he parked for. Parking Bastard™️ can't issue fines, they don't have the legal authority.

I'm just turned 58, and a few years ago when asked for an IP address range for a new project at work, gave them 10.69.0.0 solely for the schoolboy comedy value of '69'.

Not all of us have decided that he's ok. Some of us will leave a dancefloor if one of his songs comes on.

While I wholeheartedly support both points made in this post, the song itself is not actively 'taught', more learned by exposure.
