Remember those movies in the 80s where kids would end up in charge of something, like flying fighter jets or a space shuttle, and we thought it was far fetched… pretty sure those 12 year olds would do a better job of running the United States.

We know where this goes. If Trump can just declare “national security” and imprison or detain offshore a growing number of people, we know anyone who criticizes, opposes or runs against him is at risk of disappearing too.

No due process, offshore detention, masked men abducting people off the street, controlling university programs, gutting scientific research, registers and monitoring of Autistic people, proposed “camps” for them, the list grows… I’m sorry USA, but at what point do you take action to stop this?

Glad I don’t live in the US. As a diagnosed #Autistic person I would be seriously thinking of leaving the country. Crazy to think that being neurodivergent could soon be a legitimate reason to seek asylum from US government persecution in a safe country.

Just watched “Civil War”… first thought, as a photographer, wow. It’s a visual feast and homage to photojournalism. Second thought? Holy F. A plot that 10 years ago would have seemed far fetched, now looks not only plausible, but possible.

Like many, I’m a refugee from other platforms. Threads had seemed to be a safe space until the influx of trolls looking for their former twitter targets. Hoping this stays safe. Like many I think I’m still in shock and trying to find a way through recent events… I’ll regain my voice soon I’m sure.
