The way my dad so confidently says “yuh-coo-ska” makes me question if i actually know japanese, maybe in an alternate universe yokosuka rly is called yuh-coo-ska, what do i know

also ive never bothered with left handed scissors bc i was so used to using scissors w my right hand that i thought it'd feel weird, but i caught myself not that long ago using scissors with my left hand without thinking when the handles were big enough . now im curious to try one day

i think i took it to mean i was now ambidextrous and i was like omg now i can easily draw faces facing right AND left

one day, id like to revisit the places i used to go to as a kid when i was in japan
theres not a whole lot of reason to go to my old city since there kinda wasnt a whole lot there but i still wanna look around even once

went to try and play twilight princess again but the camera settings were making me nauseous and i couldnt take it so i looked up how to change the settings but by the time i figured it out i was already motion sick 💔

i was thinking again about Hiroaki's sister's name and looking up my spelling options, and i thought i picked out some good kanji characters for her but then i looked it up and its apparently a term for photosphere . i think i should think of a different combination.

i hope everyone with 20/20 vision feels very lucky forever my dad had glasses growing up too so i didnt stand a chance in the "not gonna need glasses" genetics department

anyway this is to say that ive been feeling like i cant see my screens and shit properly lately, maybe ive been straining my eyes too hard or maybe im feeling the effects of my worsened eyesight who knows

when i was getting my prescription sunglasses made i was told my eyesight got a bit worse than last time and . i didnt wanna spend another 100+ dollars so these sunglasses were made using my old prescription but maybe i shouldve sucked it up and had my normal glasses remade too

i think the reason i handled it better as a kid is bc i used to play on the TV so theres a sense of distance, when I'm playing it on my computer it feels way too personal
