Successfully made it to 11 years of marriage (wedding date was yesterday) and my tip for a happy marriage? Praying that your spouse doesn’t realize how much better they can do (for clarity it’s her not realizing how much better she can do)

No idea on if this turned out good (rhubarb coffee cake) as I’m not the baker in the house and have yet to try it but I always enjoy trying to learn a bit more. As an added bonus I was able to have my daughter help me to hopefully inspire her to do new things

We spent the day repainting the kitchen and dinning room and during these times you always think of the same question, why did the people before us pick such an ugly colour?

Went and saw the new Minecraft movie with the family tonight, it has a unique charm to it but it was very weird to see how many people were applauding and dancing during the show. Is this what Rocky Horror was like? Should I bring bread to a future showing?

Wife went out for the evening and we all know what that means! I get to pick what on the tv for background noise when I stare at the phone

Was able to fix my washing machine today. While it wasn’t anything overly complicated (had to replace the lid switch) it was still nice being able to do something like that on my own. Remember, even a small accomplishment is still and accomplishment worth celebrating
