After some coercing that they were the good guys (just without any treats), the dog allowed them to put on a harness and help bring it to safety and its owners!

Due to the location of the dog, the steep embankment and proximity to the water, our Technical Rescue Team — firefighters trained in high-angle, confined space and water rescue — were called in.

Due to the location of the dog, the steep embankment and proximity to the water, our Technical Rescue Team — firefighters trained in high-angle, confined space and water rescue — were called in.
The dog went down the embankment and ended up in a spot that wasn’t safe for their human to get them from. The owner made the right decision and instead of trying to climb down, called for help.

This year is a little different in that the firefighters started off their campout with nothing but their bunker gear — they have to unlock items such as sleeping bags and tents as fundraising goals are met. Coffee has been unlocked; next stop: sleeping bags! edmontonrooftopcampout.ca 2/3
