Hi Alex. Teague did a wonderful job with this monster movie. Great, fun story, legendary actors. Forster as washed up cop, Henry Silva as a deranged hunter and the fabulous choreography and interaction with the alligator. The wedding massacre is absolutely glorious. A perfect 1980's classic.

I don't have issues with remakes when they are not just cash grabs. Russell's 1988 remake of The Blob, Cronenberg's 1986 remake of The Fly and of course, Carpenter's 1982 masterclass remake of The Thing spring to mind!

Hi Clinton. I am a big fan of this film. I know people are not overly fond of remakes but this is rare in that the Savini, Romero connection is very strongly associated with this film. Even taking this into account, it features two late icons of the genre Todd and Towles facing off. Perfect.

My copy just shipped out yesterday. So happy I waited and it came back into stock, this is a remake I'm very fond of!
