this is why i am pretty confident there will not be a meaningful attempt to do an end run around mamdani. a lot of elite cuomo support seemed to be based on “well, he’s probably going to win and he’s a vindictive asshole and i don’t want to be on his bad side.”
Here's a fun thing that a top donor to Andrew Cuomo's super PAC just told me.

Sadly I did not know this for the first 55 years of my life. They do not teach you this. This is absolutely true. And we should honor all of them this Memorial Day and always
