In retrospect, of all the European countries France has been right all along. They kept their military industry running, built an insane amount of nuclear energy and always have been suspicious of the Americans. They are also the ones that can offer a cultural alternative to the US. Time to listen.

Hope it won’t happen to stimulate innovation. Sony and Nintendo feel so different that I’m not sure they are competing with each other. Would leave Sony as the monopolist. Maybe Valve could release a proper console version of the index.
