Thanks! If you look I also did a test with a couple of lenses. Although handheld, and reached the same conclusion, difficult to get the whole frame and difficult to focus…

I did a few tests. It turns out I have a 50mm and a 70mm that are 49mm. I did the shots handheld and could see that I need a longer lens to get all the 35mm negative in the frame… first 2 pictures are taken with the 70mm, last one with the 50mm. I think I need at least a 100mm to get the whole neg.

I will! I have to find a compatible lens now. None of the ones I own are compatible…

I am loving this! I have been wanting to scan my negatives with a digital camera for a long time. But I only have an x100f. Maybe now I can do it… I will have to see if I can find a lens to give it a go… thanks a lot!!!
