Yeah I'd be worried about per-street speed limits, especially when a slow city road passes under a highway like those awful US cities. You dont want your car slowing to curbside speeds in the highway that's dangerous.You'd have to use the highest limit nearby so some speeding would still be possible

If you want it to be difficult to break it does, but it can also just mean "your vehicle knows where it is". The offline solution could be easily hacked to remove the limit (hey car, the speed limit is now 999mph everywhere,new law or something) but maybe people wouldn't do that, maybe it's a crime.

The private property personal property distinction is mostly just a way to calm down liberals who have no property except their car and get 'too scared to think' if they suspect you want to take that away too, but you don't need ANY laws to solve the "Fred moves, does he take his clothes?" problem.

IQ is so embarrassing. ooh what if there was a magic number that you were born with that said how useful a person you were wouldn't eugenics be really logistically easy and socially beneficial? And we have to live in a society that broadly thinks yeah, such a number probably exists.

I thought screenshots of text were managed by screen readers, so alt text which would be exactly a transcript of the image-text was unnecessary. The alt text in this case would include the word just the same, for example. Have I misunderstood? is there some post filtering based on alt text content?

A nice surface-level thesis of "we all understand that everything sucks now because of rich people, right?" that everyone in the world can touch base on and see the same shared understanding. It's good. It's good to know everyone's on the same page.

That's plastic bubble keyboards though. at peak esports, esports guys were caught in a masculinity cycle over how clicky their mechanical keyboards were. what do I multiply this by, to account for the heaviest buckling-spring switches compared to the membrane boards from the study?

Anything that looks like a casual photograph is now impossible to identify as real or fake. Other types of images still have a slop factor but it would be wise to assume now that any AI-generated content could be indistinguishable from real material in our lifetime. We need digital fingerprints etc.
