Profoundly disconnected. Low interest voters assume Republicans are better on economy. Will be an uphill fight to sell these to people who aren't listening.

Values. Right and wrong. It's time to lead, and a leader with ear to ground doesn't present best look to followers.

Treaties like NAFTA you mean? Or the UNFCCC (treaty on climate change)? Or the JCPOA (Iran nuclear deal)?

Probably.

If no other shoe falls within a week or two, agree.

But if it's a matter of handing over a tchotchke to be able to assume the seat for which she was elected (and, in which she could presumably accomplish some worthwhile things), her trade would make sense.

Biden tried the humane and comprehensive approach. It involved an app and agreements with 21 countries to take in VZ refugees, and concrete repatriation agreements.

This all got near zero coverage. 'Build a wall' headlines are much easier to write.
