I couldn't see much else directly, so was curious as to how much of the rest of the image was stars and how much digital artifacts. I think I can match at least a few of them to Stellarium

Thanks for the prompt! Good clear skies here in Bristol. I think I have Jupiter in this shot, from 18:55, and was able to see the Castor and Pollux later once they had cleared the street lights

Mine arrived in the week, but I only just now got the chance to open it. It's beautiful, thank you!

I'm not sure if the photo captures it, but the gold looks just right under the room lights - a lovely evocation of the peace of the roosting hour, and a cheery glow on a dark autumn night.

They ran a Scotch draper's business, going door-to-door selling suits and fabric on credit (a profession referenced by Bristol pub "The Scotchman and His Pack"), and hosted Burns Night festivities for the local Scots community. 2/2

I just caught up with this episode - fascinating to learn of the Malago. My great-great grandparents must have known the mill in its final years, I think. They lived on York Street, just a few blocks away. Here they are just after their wedding and arrival in Bristol from Ullapool in 1877/78
