I did a quick check this morning on the tubes, bottles, and packages gathered around my bathroom sink. Many of them show that they were manufactured in a foreign company (Canada, Israel, S. Korea, to name a few).

While we are talking about getting rid of pennies, let's consider banning the 0.9 cents at the end of the price of gasoline. What's the point of having a price like that?

What's the difference in a sales tax and a VAT?
Most countries use a VAT system which isn’t a tariff. Trump’s proposal could start a trade war with most of the world.

Being fired looks worse on your resume than resignation.
Ken, is there a reason why DoJ lawyers will resign when given corrupt or illegal orders instead of just refusing the orders and getting fired? Is it Department norms/traditions or is there something else?

If Greenland is acquired by the US, will it's residents become American citizens? If yes, Greenland would bring in mostly Inuit people (89.7%). By the way, nearly everyone speaks one of the Inuit dialects. I'm not worried. Americans can always make themselves understood by TALKING LOUDLY.

Should we start referring to what's going on as "Trump's revenge tour"?

Read this whole thread -- it makes sense.
One way to think about the DOGE effort is it's an outgrowth of 20 years of hardliner conservatives frustrated by their inability to get the votes in Congress to do what they want to do. 1/

This is David Lebryk, a 30-year veteran of the Treasury Department and Acting Secretary. He is being forced out by Elon Musk because he refused to provide Musk with sensitive internal government payment information. 🤬🤬🤬

Share everywhere if you stand with Secretary Lebryk against Musk!

If you wanted to know how an autocracy would start in America, it begins by releasing violent thugs from prison who beat up police defending Congress, illegally firing every Inspector General, and seizing billions appropriated by Congress for people with no authority to do so.

Aspiring lieutenant governor penned 479 page flat Earth screed
Interestingly for a candidate for lieutenant governor, Dean Odle’s 2019 book is filled with conspiratorial tales of a flat Earth.
