Hello Ian! This is fascinating! I would be pleased if there are GTCS-registered teachers (who fit my criteria for the study) and are involved in teachmeet to participate in the study. There are useful insights on non-formal teacher professional learning that can be derived from.

I was scheduled to return to London (then to Glasgow) via Doha (Qatar Airways) yesterday. QR has only allowed passengers flying to Doha as their end destination. They kindly arranged for me to fly with Thai Airways to London via BKK.

There is no 'blanket legal prohibition' on teachers to become activists. However, I acknowledge in my research that activism is contextual, and political activism is just one of the many ways (e.g. civic, pedagogical) teachers profess an activist stance.
