I thought it was delightful and literally laughed out loud in the theater at the absurdity. It completely made fun of itself, had some Easter eggs and the acting was honestly decent. Was also a nice full circle moment on the Tony Todd character 👀 It’s not 5 star cinema, but it’s quite fun.

Ok. Omg. I had no idea how many Easter eggs were in each subsequent film and I had a blast picking them out (and I’m sure I missed plenty). It is absolute ridiculous horror but it was fun. I got tickets to see Bloodlines tomorrow night!

Hehe I’ll still do the cinema self date but wanted to chill indoors today. It started storming 🤩 (although it does every afternoon in Florida this time of year lol). Just wrapped up 1. Moving on to 2. Reminded me of pre travel days when I was deathly afraid of flying 😅 log trucks next I think!

Depends on how much of a purist you are and your feelings on remakes. I don't have the original to compare it to but I liked the remake. It was brooding and spooky. It devolved into the gore and chaos a bit later on and I def couldn't have handled that all the way through lol. My verdict: Yes

I’ve actually only seen the Suspiria remake with Dakota Johnson. Did you watch the original?
